Easton is 6 Months!

I can't believe Easton is now 6 Months. He just had his Dr. Apt today. Things are going well he is getting so big and tall. He can almost sit up on his own, if it were not for his tight hammys he would be already. I still need to get him to sleep through the night he loves to cuddle with me when he sleeps so he doesn't stay asleep for long when he is sleeping on his own so that is my next task. But he brings so much joy and happiness into our little family. We are right now in the process of changing his name. It was originally Easton Parker but we are changing it to Easton Daniel. We were not set on Parker when we picked it and the more Easton is around he looks and acts like Daniel and he could be our only boy and I know we will regret it later if we don't. So his name is soon going to be Easton Daniel Gilberg. Anyways, these are his Measurements and also some pictures at the doctors office today.
Weight 17.2 lbs - 36 %
Height 28.5 inches - 94 %
Head 17 inches - 24 %
Here he is with is way cute smile

One of my favorite things is when they start grabbing and playing with their feet, he has been doing this for a couple weeks. I love it. He is just about to get shots, sad :(

Then here is what Emilie has been up to. Her friend Jackson had his 3rd birthday and she got invited to his pirate party. She had so much fun. But... Jackson's Dad is from Moapa...eww :) I think he was secretly trying to turn Emilie into a Pirate without telling us. Too bad she only has Bulldog blood and maybe a little Cowboy blood :) And both those can beat up those nasty pirates easily. Ha Ha j/k McKay.
Here she is at his party that was at his preschool
A few weeks ago I had a eye infection so when scheduling all my eye appointments and trying to get fit into some better contacts we scheduled an appointment for Emilie. So here is her first Eye Exam. Next is the dentist :)
Easton slept most of the time.

This one is for you Grandma Laub! Her eyes were dilated so they gave her these wrap around sun glasses, only to remind me of my Grandma, I love it.
Anyways, that's it. Now I get to turn another year older this week and prepare for winter which I am not excited for because its going to be so cold and that means the holidays are coming also...which will more than likely be spent alone without our families. I'm not looking forward to that. K- see ya.

The Happenings...

Here are a few things that have been going on with us lately. My mom and dad came out for a visit. We had a good time. I love it when they come. It has been so nice to be able to see them every other month or so. I don't know if I could have made it this long out here with out that. Thanks to my bro who works for Delta! Anyway, while they were here we went and played some tennis. The kids were so good, Easton sat in his Bumbo the entire time and Emilie rode her bike and also bugged Easton. But we had fun playing. Here are a few pictures of that, Here is Emilie taking Easton for a ride on her bike.
My Dad serving to Daniel
More of Easton riding with Emilie

And a great picture of our sweaty faces. haha. I had to document that we were there too. I am also in my lovely glasses, cause I had an eye infection so I couldnt wear my contacts. So not a very good picture :) oh well
Next is Jackson and Emilie.....The Whitneys were over for Labor Day, and Emilie and Jackson decided they needed to take a shower. They come walking out into the living room looking like this. After getting into a little bit of trouble I couldn't resist taking these pictures.
I love Jackson's face in this one
Yesterday for YM and YW we took the youth swimming at the new YMCA. Since Daniel is YM president and I am YW president (and we don't have any where to leave our kids) they got to come swimming with us. This was Easton's first time in a swimming pool, He liked the therapy pool better than the big pool because it was warmer. Anyways, so we thought we would document that day.
Easton and I (Yet again more lovely pictures of myself)
The Family
The Youth group, I usually have 2 more YW that come sometimes. But ya this is it. Weird huh.

The Candy Necklace

The other day I had to got to the eye Dr. and then the pharmacy, Emilie was sad that I left so I said I would bring her home a treat. So I brought home a Candy Necklace... all of Daniels buddies know about the Q-Lace...Daniel asks 'did you bring me one' haha I was dying. He like loves these things. I begged him to take a picture and he said only if you don't put in on the blog. But I am cause I thought all those buddies out there would like to see Daniel in one once again. I love it, don't they look so cute in their matching necklaces.
So this is a picture of when I had first asked them to take a picture. But my camera was on video and then the battery died. But I love Emilie in this picture I wish it would have been a snap shot. So I took a picture of the video off my computer. Anyways, it didn't turn out that good but you can at least see how cute this picture would have been if my camera would have been on the right settings.
