Emilie received a card from Scott, Sara, Sadie, Mason and Eliza today. It was so cute, she loved opening mail that was for her, we kept telling her it was for her birthday so she kept saying 'happy birthday mommy' (side story: On my birthday we taught her how to say happy birthday so I was getting ready and I heard her in the other room say 'happy birthday Emmy' So I went in and said 'no its not your birthday its Mommy's' So then she would say my name.) So we told her about her birthday next week and then let her open her card, and she kept saying the 'happy birthday mommy' She doesn't understand that it is now going to be her birthday and now she can say her name. Anyways, she loved the money and card. She walked around with it forever and thought the money was so cool. Here are a few pictures of her opening it and then a thank you video.

(Sorry Emilie looks like an orphan in all our pictures. Her hair is like a nightmare...I guess it is Halloween. :) I also forgot to mention she has a black eye from falling off the couch.

These next few are pictures of Emilie in her Hut... Daniel cut this big box into a little hut for Emilie. She thought it was so cool and when the windows got cut she poked her head through and ordered chicken and fries. Then it turned into medication and fries. She is so funny.

ps: I promise next time I post it will be of the house and where we live. It has been so beautiful lately because there are so many trees and the leaves are red, orange, purple, yellow....so many different colors. I will be sad when they are all gone.

Is Emilie Obsessed!!!!!

So do you think Emilie is Obsessed? She wanted to take all these dolls to bed with her. She can not get enough of them. All she does is play with her dolls. She talks to them like they are real, she asks if they are hungry or if they want to go pee pee...she is so crazy about these dolls. My mom got her this cute doll kit for her early birthday, its like a bassinet, car seat and stroller and she loves it. Anyway, Daniel took this picture and I love it she is so funny.

Last week my mom came out to visit us. We loved having her here. Emilie gets so happy to see other people than just me. These are a few pictures we took of my mom and Emilie right before she left, Emilie is still in her PJ's.

Bowling for a Buck

This week my mom has been out visiting us. I think she has been kind of bored because we dont have much of a life out here. So on Wednesday we decided to go bowling... it is only 1 dollar to rent shoes and 1 dollar to bowl. So we bowled 2 games and had some fun. Emilie loved trying to bowl. I would let her bowl for me sometimes and she did good, the first bowl I had one pin left and we bowled and got it. We had a good time and Emilie loves having grandma out here.

Camping at Breaks

This last weekend we went camping with some friends from the branch. We had a really good time. Emilie especially loved it, she had so much fun running and hiking and playing in the dirt and associating with other kids. Our little family is doing good. Daniel has been doing great in school he is almost finished with his first class. He is the Young Men's President and I am in the Young Women's and also the ward organist, so that will keep us busy. So far things have been fun, we have made friends with some of the young families in our ward, hopefully hanging out with them every so often will keep us. Anyway...here are a few pictures of our trip and then a few other random ones.

Visiting Daddy at school. Last week we went to Daniels school at ate lunch with him. Emilie loved it as well as all the students and staff. She always says, 'I want to go to class' so she got to see what it was like.

This was so funny, Emilie got all this stuff out of the dishwasher and cupboard and she kept telling me she was making cookies. The yellow cup was apple juice that she was adding and she would stir it and everything. I loved it.
After baking cookies she thought she would get into the markers and draw on her body. Fun huh.

Pictures of Baby #2

So these are not the greatest pictures...well nothing compared to the ones we got with Emilie, but they will do. I went to the Doctor today and they said everything is looking good. I am 13 weeks today but the baby is measuring a little over 11 weeks so I really hope they do not push my due date back another 2 weeks. I have to go back in 2 weeks to get another check and blood work and all that fun stuff, so we will see more when that date comes. Emilie loved looking at the baby, she thought it was so cool. She kept laying down on the bed with me wanting to be checked to see what was in her tummy. The baby did really well with the ultra sound we could see a good picture of the heart beat and everything. So here a just a few pictures all of you who live so far away. ps...I love how you fill out the paper work and you spell your name right and they still cant get it right.

This is the baby head to rump. It is looking at us. I think the baby isn't fully straight so the measurement is off. Lets hope if not its not coming until April. sucky.
